Limousine Bull is an artist-led space, with an open membership. The collective was established in 1998, and has been resident at the Torry venue in Aberdeen, since January 2005.
Our aim is to facilitate individual and collaborative opportunities for local artists in Aberdeen and the North East of Scotland, through a range of projects. This includes exhibiting new work, staging events, drop-in life drawing sessions and curating or managing a specific project.
On average Limousine Bull provides a venue for twelve events a year, showcasing art in our exhibition space. On occassion, we source and provide other venues for exhibiting work in Aberdeen, the UK and abroad.
Working in conjunction with Limousine Bull, offers both emerging and established artists a platform, which functions much more than just a gallery. It promotes broader concepts, engaging a critical approach to generate interchanges, as well as a space for reflection and production.
