Signage, manmade pattern and texture, and architecture all inform Emma’s reaction to ‘place’ – in this instance predominantly France.
The built form of urban environments are translated into an embossed printed artwork – found objects are used as printing plates, and handmade paper and wooden boards are constructed into abstract objects.
